The Women’s Ministry of Yorkton Alliance Church follows the model outlined by the National Women’s Ministry of the Christian Missionary and Alliance.

Our leadership team consists of Crystal Dyste, Chanz Hutton, Jan Ferguson and Michelle Walker.

Our mission is to focuses on 4 key elements:

  1. Relationships – Being relational is one of the core values we wish to focus on. We strive to provide many opportunities for the women to connect with each other – it is through relationships that we are introduced to Christ and pressed on towards growth and discipleship.

  2. Soul Care- Our desire is to encourage women to reach their full potential that God has for them and grow spiritually. The reality of our faith must intersect with the “dailyness” of our lives. Teaching on God’s Word, prayer and the “how to’s” of spiritual disciplines applied to current issues is a core value.

  3.  Community Impact – Would our community notice if our church or Women’s Ministry did not exist? How can we make a difference in women’s lives in our community? How can we love our neighbors? We try and plan some of our events with these things in mind in order to reach out to those in our community.

  4. Engaging in Service – Part of healthy discipleship is being equipped to serve. Offering opportunities to serve by being engaged in areas of giftedness and passion will push us to maturity in Christ.

Throughout the year we plan events centered around these four elements that serve as connecting point for the women in our church.
